What is Trackchair Finder?
Trackchair Finder is an interactive tool designed to help outdoor recreation enthusiasts with mobility challenges quickly identify and reserve public-use Trackchairs®. Across the United States, there are many federal, state and/or local park and government agencies, non- profit organizations, and other organizations that offer the public adaptive outdoor recreation opportunities through the reservation of Trackchairs®. Trackchair Finder streamlines your search by quickly identifying Trackchairs® near you or your destination. The intuitive scheduling system enables users to find availability and make reservation.
What is an Trackchair®?
The Trackchair® is the ultimate all-terrain wheelchair. Its durable and innovative patented design enables users the ability to get off the beaten path and traverse any type of terrain – sand, snow, mud, rocky landscapes and even up to 10-inches of water. The Trackchair® provides users the freedom and independence to explore and enjoy outdoor recreation activities like hunting, fishing, hiking, beach outings and more.
How do I reserve an Trackchair?
Trackchair Finder does not own or operate any of the Trackchairs® identified on Trackchair Finder and therefore is not responsible for any availability, reservation confirmations or cancelations. All communication regarding the availability and reservations of the Trackchair® must be conducted with the agency or organization listed as the owner/operator and NOT with Manufacturing or Trackchair®.
How far in advance can I reserve an Trackchair?
Reservation policies will be uniquely dependent upon the agency or organization that own and operate the specific Trackchair® you are interested in reserving. Please contact the agency or organization that owns or operates the Trackchair®. Contact information of the owner and operator can be found by clicking on a pin locator. A card will be displayed with the address, phone number and email for the agency or organization that owns the Trackchair(s) listed. A link to an external website may also be listed in the event the agency or organization uses their own reservation system.
How do I search Trackchair Finder?
To find available Trackchairs® in your area, enter your address or zip code into the search bar. Select the radius you wish to search and then click “Search”. All available Trackchairs® within the search radius will be identified by a pin. Click the pin to view more details about the Trackchair® and the agency or organization that owns and operates the Trackchair®.
How long can I reserve an Trackchair?
Reservation policies will be uniquely dependent upon the agency or organization that own and operate the specific Trackchair® you are interested in reserving. Please contact the agency or organization that owns or operates the Trackchair®. Contact information of the Trackchair® owner and operator can be found by clicking on the pin. Address, Phone Number and Email for the agency or organization that owns the Trackchair(s) are listed. A link to an external website URL may be listed in the agency or organization uses their own database for reservation.
How do I confirm my Trackchair® reservation?
You will receive a confirmation email regarding your reservation.
Is it free to reserve an Trackchair®?
Agencies and organizations may require a fee or a refundable damage deposit in order to reserve a Trackchair®. State Park or other government agencies may require a park admission fee in order to reserve a Trackchair®. Others may not charge a fee but encourage a free-will donation. TrackchairFinder is free to use, and fees will NOT be charged by ATZ Manufacturing or Trackchair®. Reservation policies and fee structures will be uniquely dependent upon the agency or organization that own and operate the specific Trackchair® you are interested in reserving. Please contact the agency or organization for more information regarding fees.
What is the payment process?
Reservations may require a fee or a refundable damage deposit.
I have never operated an Trackchair®. Can I still reserve and operate one?
Yes! Learning how to operate an Trackchair is very safe and easy. The agency and organization you reserve an Trackchair® through will provide an on-site overview/training program you go through before you can start your adventure. How do I cancel a reservation?
Cancelations should be made with the agency or organization the reservation was made through.
Are other all-terrain or adaptive devices identified on TrackchairFinder?
No. TrackchairFinder is for Trackchairs® only.
